Hi! Just want to share from our parish’s hosting of the mobile food pantry for Catholic Charities:

“Just wanted to say thank you for the awesome donation of produce! We were able to spread it out between 100 families as a supplement to the NIFB box. Last night our truck was packed for 230 and stretched it out to serve 358 families in order to not turn anyone away.

Well, we had about a dozen that came at the end that we did have to direct to the next mobile. These are the numbers in need that we were seeing in May and it is heartbreaking, as you well know.

We have been able to schedule another January drop, so we will serve again on January 12 and 27. Should you have the opportunity to send a donation again, we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you again for all that you do and many blessings to you and your families this Christmas!”

I have had the pleasure of working with Pastor Joyce in ministry and I can definitely say that her passion for serving not only homeless men, women and children but also those suffering the bondage of addiction is next level....and even when the Pandemic happened it didn't slow her down...she still made sure people were served out of her own driveway.....she just has a heart for the less fortunate....it is truly my pleasure to work with such a powerful selfless woman of God....I can't wait to see what this awesome servant has up her sleeve next....all I know is I definitely want to be a part of it!!”
